RT3 network and MEGEVH
In 2001, the Inter-regional Network for Technological Research for Land Transport (RT3) was created to bring together those involved in research in the public arena. Six regional poles (Alsace / Franche-Comté, Haute-Normandie, Midi-Pyrenees, Nord Pas-de-Calais, Poitou-Charentes and Rhone-Alpes) represent almost half of the French teams involved in this specialty. Initially, there were two clusters representing two related hybrid vehicles: VIGHO (energy management) and IMHOTEP (system modelling). These two operations combined their skills in 2004 to create MEGEVH. In response to recent poles of competitiveness on vehicles ("MOV'EO for Paris and Normandy areas, "Vehicles of the Future" for Alsace and Franche Comté areas, "Mobility and Advanced Transportation" for Poitou Charentes area, etc...), MEGEVH aims to implement future cross-disciplinary themes.
