VPPC 2019

IEEE Vehicule Power and Propulsion Conference 2019

This year three special sessions organised by MEGEVH are proposed. As usual a MEGEVH special sessions will be co-chaired by a MEGEVH member and an international scientits. You can find more informations below about each session and a link to VPPC website.

The first special session: Energy Management of a Dual-Mode Locomotive

  • Chair: Dr. Walter LHOMME, University of Lille, MEGEVH network (France)

  • Co-chair: Dr. Javier SOLANO, Universidad Industrial de Santander (Colombia)

This special session is focused on the development of multi-level models of components and/or subsystems of electrified vehicles to be integrated into the simulation. The applications could be the sizing, analysis, control, energy management, thermal strategy, performance determination of the studied vehicle. The interest of using multi-level models should be highlighted. The comparison of the different models for a defined objective could also of interest. This special session is open to the members of the PANDA project but also to other contributors in order to share various experiences.

Deadlines:
- Submission of digest: April 21, 2019
- Notice of acceptance: June 23, 2019
- Submission of full papers: July 28, 2019

All special session digests must be prepared and submitted in the same way as those for the conference regular tracks (VPPC 2019), except that the corresponding special session should be identified during submission.

The second special session: Multi-Level models for simulation of electrified vehicle

  • Chair: Prof. Alain BOUSCAYROL, University of Lille, MEGEVH network (France)

  • Co-chair: Dr. Joris JAGUEMONT, Vrije University of Brussels, (Belgium)

The Third special session: EMR and other graphical descriptions

  • Chair: Dr. Ronan GERMAN, University of Lille, MEGEVH network (France)

  • Co-chair: Thanh Vo-Duy, Hanoi Univesity of Science and Technology, (Vietnam)

The aim of this special session is to present different graphical descriptions, including EMR, applied to HEVs or/and EVs to solve complex design and control problems.
